Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I would like to invite you, your lay leadership, and all members of your congregation to a parish evangelism workshop, September 23, 2017 called Church Beyond the Walls: Mission Possible. This will be a half day workshop for the Central, Eastern, and Western Convocations in the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas.

This practical workshop provides a framework for developing an intentional evangelistic/ missional strategy for your parish.

We will explore:

  1. The missional call of the church and discerning God’s call for your specific parish.
  2. The demographics of your wider community and how to reach new people.
  3. Practical steps needed to prepare your congregation to reach beyond its walls.
  4. Essentials for making your parish more missional and outward focused.
  5. A step by step framework for developing a strategy to reach people in your community who do not know God or do not have a church home.

I hope you can join us for this practical an engaging workshop.

Yours in Christ,

Carrie
