College Ministry at UTD and Epiphany

01.11.16

The Credo UTD student ministry emerged from the Saturday Service at Church of the Epiphany in Richardson. Credo means "I believe" in Latin. Credo is an ecumenical ministry unified in liturgical worship of the Triune God. We share our faith in Jesus Christ as we reach out in friendship to UTD students, both international and American.

We invite all to learn about our faith through Bible study and fellowship after the Saturday Service. Currently Credo has more than 20 active student members. Epiphany has been blessed by participating in Friendship Partners, a campus ministry which matches new international students with parishioners.

Credo engages in biannual mission trips to Atlanta, Tx. We work alongside our friends from All Saints Episcopal Church on various projects in the community while enjoying worship and fellowship at Shepherd's Pasture Retreat Center. Our next trip takes place on May 12-15. All are invited to serve.

This year we welcomed Amanda Garcia to the Epiphany staff. She serves as college ministry coordinator, planning Saturday Service, leading Bible study, ministering to students and coordinating mission trips. We are grateful for the faithful service of our student leader, Paul Mathew, who loves our Lord and is a joyful evangelist.

We give thanks for our ecumenical partners whose prayers, friendship and work have contributed to the flourishing of this ministry: International Students Inc., Campus Renewal and FOCUS.

Credo and Saturday Night Service bring an energy and joy to our parish which is contagious. Please contact Amanda or Mtr. Betsy if you are interested in serving.
