Farmer's Market

03.23.17 | by Marillyn Seeberger

The Saint Michael’s Farmers Market will begin its sixth season on April 29.  This outstanding market, managed by a volunteer Committee from Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, has been a beacon to people who love good food and a good shopping experience. The upcoming season is scheduled for April 29 to September 9, open on Saturdays, 8 a.m. to Noon. We have added an extended season that includes one Saturday a month in: October, November and December.

    Here is what we offer:

Local Produce: Our farmers offer fresh, locally grown food and must operate in a radius of no more than 150 miles from Dallas.

Our vendors are outstanding: We have vendors who have been with us since the beginning of our market in 2011. These vendors provide the core on which we have built the quality approach to our vendor qualifications. This year, we have added more than a dozen new vendors and we are thrilled about their offerings.

A “foodies” farmers market. We only have food products: no trinkets or crafts--nothing to distract from the focus on food.

Food Demos. A chef at our market offers food demos using the food products of our vendors.

Shaded tables where you can rest while you enjoy a breakfast taco, coffee, listen to music from the Discovery Mass Band, or visit with friends, old and new.

Our Location: We are located on the north parking lot of Saint Michael and all Angels Episcopal Church and three blocks south of Northwest Highway on Douglas.   We are adjacent to the Dallas North Toll Road, on our west, and are right in the geographical center of Dallas; easily accessible from any highway.
