Join the Movement: ReviveTX

03.06.17

The Episcopal Diocese of Dallas is participating in ReviveTX, a 50-day evangelism effort in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Christians from more than 260 churches will hit the streets during Eastertide to share the love of Jesus with everyone they meet. The project’s geographic area has been divided into 10 regions. Each region includes a host church and several "noontime" churches providing lunch and midday worship. The Dallas diocese has 14 churches enrolled, with two of our parishes hosting lunch once a week for seven weeks. We are looking for more churches to be involved in this exciting movement by participating in the evangelism, through intercessory prayer, and by providing food and housing for participants. There will be informational meetings with local pastors and leaders in each of the 10 geographical regions at noon on Wednesday, March 15, and Wednesday, April 5, at Gateway Church in Dallas; Metro Fellowship, Cornerstone Baptist Church in Arlington, New Day Church in Southlake, Freedom Life Church, Lifegate Church and Family Cathedral.

Additional training sessions are scheduled for the weekends following these meetings. Evangelist Carrie Headington, will rotate throughout all of the regions during the 50 days to participate in the evangelism and to encourage others. Those interested should contact Carrie Headington or Laura Faulkner at 214-826-8310 or . More information can also be found on the ReviveTX website - http://www.revivetx.org/. You will not want to miss out on this opportunity to be the one body of Christ and share His love across North Texas.

The reviveTX kick off celebration, praise, worship, and prayer gathering will happen 6 p.m.,, EASTER SUNDAY NIGHT, April 16th at IBOC Church, 7701 S. Westmoreland Road, Dallas, TX 75237.
