New Missioner for Congregational Growth and Development

    The Rev. Kevin Martin has accepted the call to serve as the diocesan missioner for congregational development. He is a former dean of St. Matthew's Cathedral in Dallas. For nine years, Kevin served as the congregational development officer for the Episcopal Diocese of Texas. He is part of the Clear Vision Conferences and was a member of the original 2020 Taskforce for the Episcopal Church. He teaches extensively on attracting new members, evangelism and the development of new leadership. Kevin is the author of two books; “The Myth of the 200 Barrier” and “5 Keys for Church Leaders.”

    Martin's wife, Sharon, is retired and the couple have two sons, Robert who is an electrical engineer and Ian who is a photographer. They also have three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
