St. Andrew's Day Celebration
The St. Andrews Episcopal Church of Farmers Branch cordially invites their parish family and friends to the St. Andrews Day Celebration on Friday, November 30. The evening will be hosted by the Brotherhood of St. Andrew chapter of the St. Andrews Men's Group. The schedule will be:
- 6:15PM - 6:30PM - Performance by the Scottish Bagpipers
- 6:30PM - 7:30PM - Holy Eucharist Rite 1 celebrated by The Right Reverend James Stanton
- 7:30PM - 7:45PM - Bagpiper Procession to Hunsacker Hall
- 7:45PM - 8:15PM - Dinner Served (Shepherd's Pie with all the trimmings)
- 8:15PM - 8:45PM - Scotch Tasting and Judging
Everyone is encouraged to bring their favorite Scotch Whiskey preferably a Malt Liquor or a Premium Blended Whiskey. A contest will be held with cash donations being the deciding factor. Please bring your bottle in a plain brown paper bag.
A separate youth event is being planned with details to be provided later.
Please RSVP to by Tuesday, November 27 with a number of attendees to ensure an appropriate amount of food is prepared.
