    New Christian Formation Materials

    The Resource Center has gotten in some additional new resources for Christian Education.  There are three new curricula for Youth and Adult Confirmation as well as some excellent new Adult Formation studies from Bishop Robert Barron.  Finally, we wanted everyone to be aware of a complete free curriculum for children and youth from Virginia Theological Seminary.  If you have any questions about any of these materials or would like to check them out, just email Laura Faulkner ( .

    Confirmation

    Pilgrim

    Pilgrim is a confirmation curriculum geared toward adults, but could be used with high school ages as well.  It approaches the great issues of the faith through participation in contemplation and discussion.  There are 8 topics, with 6 sessions per topic.     Diocese of Albany Confirmation Curriculum - FREE TO DOWNLOAD

    The Episcopal Diocese of Albany has created a 27-lesson confirmation curriculum for youth and adults. This series of lessons focuses on the foundation beliefs of the Episcopal faith including: God, Trinity, Bible, sacraments, and service.  This curriculum is free to download and use and can be found at the following link: https://www.albanyepiscopaldiocese.org/documents/confirmationlessons.htm.

    Diocese of Alabama Confirmation Curriculum - FREE TO DOWNLOAD

    The Episcopal Diocese of Alabama also has created confirmation curriculum for youth and adults.  Their Youth Curriculum is intended for Jr. High and has 20 sessions covering the Christian Faith, Episcopal Identity, and Service and Evangelism.  The Adult Curriculum is an Anglican Essentials class focusing on Church History, Sacraments, Scripture, and the Christian Life.     Episcopal Children's Curriculum - FREE TO DOWNLOAD

    Episcopal Children's Curriculum is a children and youth curriculum written by Virginia Theological Seminary.  It follows the church year and covers both Old Testament and New Testament stories each year.  There are three levels for children, with three years of lessons for each level.
