Tornado Relief

12.28.15 | by Rebecca Tankersley

As you did it to one of the least of these, you did it to me.

    Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

Residents in the nearly 200 homes that were destroyed by North Texas tornadoes still need help.

Cash donations are most needed. Several EDOD churches, including Holy Trinity By the Lake and St. James Dallas, have created Tornado Relief funds. Please consider donating. In addition, relief

workers on the ground have asked for:

    • PLASTIC STORAGE BINS/TUBS (We cannot get enough!!)

    • Brooms, mops, dust pans, shovels, Rakes

    • Full size towels

    • Hand warmers

    • Flashlights and batteries

    • Smaller size work gloves!! (Think women, teens, and even kids!!)

    • Men's Socks (new)

    • First Aid Supplies

    • Duct tape and packing tape

    • Shop rags

    • Pillows

    • Gift Cards (Walmart, Visa, and MasterCard are best, but we'll take ANYTHING!!)

Please share this call for assistance widely with your members and friends. Help us collect funds and

other donations for our neighbors. HTBTL and St. James are accepting donations at the addresses

below; if you prefer, we will arrange to pick up donations from EDOD parishes & missions for

delivery to those working on the ground in Rowlett. Thank you in advance for your generous
