The Rev. Katie Gerber

Deacon Katie serves is the Director for All Saints Camp and Youth Ministry. She was ordained to the diaconate in 2021. She has served in children’s and youth ministry – primary youth – since 1996. In 2016, Katie retired from 30 years of service to the state of Texas working for Child Protective Services where she served the most vulnerable of our population and their families. Married to John for over 35 years, has two beautiful daughters, Kaitlyn Boley, and Emily Gerber, and two amazing grandsons, Liam and Connor Boley.

Deacon Katie has a heart for youth and young adults. God has called her to minister to this community where she leads summer camp, summer mission trips, and coordinates EDOD youth programming. Her hopes and ministry goals are that all youth in our diocese will find their place in God’s kingdom. They will develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and find communities where they are loved and valued for who they are created to be.
