NEW BEGINNINGS #51

OCTOBER 21-23, 2016

7:00 PM, Friday evening through 12:00 Noon, Sunday

at Camp All Saints, 418 Stanton Way, Pottsboro, 75076

(Register by Monday, October 10)

A retreat for students in grades 6, 7 & 8, and their sponsors.

Cost is $80 per person

New Beginnings is a unique experience designed specifically to respond to the needs and concerns of Junior High students by focusing on the two Great Commandments. During the retreat, there is a series of talks given by youth and adults, skits, songs, small group discussions and other activities. Sponsors are required to attend with their students.

Things to bring: Registration forms, reusable water bottle, a snack to share, Bible and notebook, close-toed shoes, sleeping bag & pillow, toiletries and towels, weather-appropriate clothing. 

 

HAPPENING # 159

NOVEMBER 18-20, 2015

7:00 PM, Friday evening through 12:00 Noon, Sunday

at Camp All Saints, 418 Stanton Way, Pottsboro, 75076.

(Register by Monday, November 9).

 

A retreat for students in grades 9, 10, 11, & 12.

Cost is $80 per person.

Happening is a Christian renewal experience that seeks to bring participants to a fuller knowledge of and relationship with Jesus Christ and a deeper level of commitment to the Christian life. There are large and small group activities led by both youth and adults, with lots of music, worship, games and other activities.

Sponsors are not required to attend but certainly but may.

Things to bring: Registration forms, reusable water bottle, a snack to share, Bible and notebook, close-toed shoes, sleeping bag & pillow, toiletries and towels, weather-appropriate clothing.

  

THE BISHOP’S BALL

SATURDAY, JANUARY 21 2017

7:00-10:30 PM,

St. Matthew’s Cathedral, 5100 Ross Ave., Dallas, TX, 75206

(Register by January 9, 2017)

 

This “prom” is for students in 9th through 12th grade and their clergy and sponsors. Come join the fun at this evening of dancing, food and fellowship.

Cost is $10.00 per person plus a package of diapers to be donated to The Gateway of Grace Refugee Ministry. Bring diapers and registration form to the event.

Sponsors are required to attend with their students

 

DDYC Junior High Retreat

FEBRUARY 17-19, 2016,

7:00 PM, Friday evening through 12:00 Noon, Sunday,

at Camp All Saints, 418 Stanton Way, Pottsboro, 75076.

(Register by Monday, February 9, 2017)

 

This is a retreat for students in Junior High (grades 6-8) and their sponsors. Cost is $80 per person.

This is a retreat for students in Senior High (grades 9-12) and their sponsors. Cost is $80 per person.

DDYC LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

SATURDAY, APRIL 1, 2017

9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Location TBA.

(Register by March 20, 2017)

 

For students in Junior and Senior High and youth leaders/sponsors.

Cost is $10 per person.

This event will focus on how to develop the Christian leadership skills necessary for potential Church leaders to discover their divine design or how God has uniquely "wired" them for ministry.

Sponsors are not required to attend but are encouraged to do so..

Things to bring: Registration forms, reusable water bottle, a snack to share, and Bible and notebook.
