EDOD Giving Page
Welcome to the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas donation page
This money goes to the greater North Texas region in partnership with the Greater Dallas Coalition and is part of the ongoing work of Project US: Unite and Serve. This is the Diocese' initiative to serve the least of these (Matthew 25) as one body, (John 17).
Prison Ministry Cairo
Kanater Prison does not fully provide for prisoner's basic needs, because the family is expected to do this. The Diocese of Egypt helps provide food, medicine, clothing and blankets for those who do not have family that can provide. Diocesan clergy travel weekly to the prison to provide pastoral care to inmates, including those on death row. The largest expenditure is providing plane tickets to the newly released who have no way of returning to their home countries.
Gambella Well Project
Clean drinking water is a very serious need in Gambella. The Anglican Church hopes to begin a water ministry at Good Shepherd Cathedral, which is located on the outskirts of town and has no running water or electricity. This ministry would provide clean drinking water to the community around the Cathedral, but we need a lot of financial help to make this happen. A little goes a long way.
