Dr. Austin teaches classes, leads retreats, speaks at events like "theology on tap," and so forth. He writes a weekly blog on the diocesan website, "Diary of a Theologian." He enjoys visiting parishes throughout the diocese to teach or preach. A Christian ethicist by training, his theological interests are broad and particularly hone in on how theology makes a difference in everyday life. He is the author of several books including, "Losing Susan" and "Friendship: The Heart of Being Human."
