The Abbey on Lovers Lane is offering an Advent Retreat to start the season in anticipation of great joy and for rejuvenation by special contemplative reflections. The retreat is offered two ways, one as an all-day event with lunch included, which is scheduled for 9:30 a.m to 2:30 p.m., December 4; and another as a three-day series, also with lunch, scheduled for 9:30 am. to 11 a.m., November 29, December 6 and December 13. 

Organizers say if you are feeling stressed by another pandemic Christmas and wondering if you should be with people, travel or stay home this Advent Retreat will be a refreshment for you. Sign up here.
