East Texas churches, otherwise known as APNET, are hosting a conference with keynote sessions, workshops, worship, fellowship and more. The Rt. Rev. Robert P. Price plans to kickoff the weekend followed by four sessions with guest speaker Jane Jones, the National Prayer Coordinator for Anglican Renewal Ministries. The event is scheduled for February 20-21, at St. Dunstans, 800 N. Johnson Street, in Mineola, 75773.

Conference Title: “Going Deeper With God: Discerning His Voice”

Our keynote presenter will be Jane Jones, National Prayer Coordinator for the Anglican Renewal Ministries of Canada.

Through a series of keynote addresses, Jane will explore how God speaks to us and how we can discern God’s voice and messages to us.  How do we know that it’s God speaking to us? And how can we share with someone that God speaks to us?

Special Guest: Bishop Rob Price, who will welcome conference participants and also participate in a Saturday afternoon panel discussion with Jane Jones, Bishop Fraser Lawton and Rev. Cynthia Moore.

Keynote presentations will be enhanced by two workshops, hosted by Bishop Fraser Lawton and Rev. Cynthia Moore.

• SHAPE: Identifying and understanding your Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality and Experiences. This workshop will put attendees on the path to discovering and better understanding their personal blend of attributes to effectively serve God and make a meaningful impact in the church and community.

• Lectio Divina: Learn how to engage in this meditative practice involving spiritual reading of scripture focused on listening to God's voice and responding to it in prayer.
