Apply for a Jubilee Ministry Grant
If you are interested in addressing domestic poverty at your church, consider applying for seed money to start a Jubilee Ministry. This program helps meet the needs of the poor and oppressed...but digs with a big shovel. Jubilee Ministries seek to identify and address the root causes of poverty, not just scratch the surface, to make lasting transformations, encourage action and bring people in the kingdom closer together.
Our diocesan Jubilee Ministry Officer, Deacon Rosemary Trei, is asking for applications for this year’s Jubilee Ministry grant program. Funds are available not only to our eight existing ministries, but also to those parishes seeking designation as a Jubilee Ministry for help in start-up activities. A total of $5,000 is available and typically grants awarded range from between $500 to $1,000.
