The Cedar Valley College Police Department and Continuing Education Department have developed a series of classes specifically designed to assist churches in addressing and managing the challenges of safety.  These classes are led by a team of professional counselors, law enforcement commanders, safety-security experts, marketing managers, and clergy. The training curriculum addresses such areas as Vicarious Liabilities, Law Enforcement Relations, Emotional Recovery, as well as how to develop a safety plan and mitigate risk in the church environment.  Ushers, Greeters, Safe Teams, Pastoral Care Counselors, and Church Leadership are encouraged to attend.  If you are interested in learning more about these programs and the specific dates they are being offered, please visit the Cedar Valley College website using the links below.  You may also email Commander A.
