Death Announcement: Liz O'Donnell

03.19.21 | Homepage | by The Rev. David Petrash

Like all who knew her, it is with a great sense of personal loss that I notify you of the unexpected death on March 14 of Deacon Liz O’Donnell. Not feeling well, she went to the hospital, and died only a few hours later, apparently from sepsis.

The funeral will be live-streamed at 2 p.m., April 24 from the Church of the Transfiguration. Please keep her family in your prayers.

May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. And let light perpetual shine upon her.

Oh God, the King of saints, we praise and glorify your holy name for all your servants who have finished their course in your faith and fear: for the blessed Virgin Mary; for the holy patriarchs, prophets, apostles, and martyrs; and for all your other righteous servants, known to us and unknown; and we pray that, encouraged by their examples, aided by their prayers, and strengthened by their fellowship, we also may be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; through the merit of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
