The lines from Deuteronomy 6 follow on God’s promise to His people. Out of gratitude they are to love Him with all that they are. And this implies sharing the news of that love, first of all with the next generation.  We do so by building recitation of God’s story into our families, our Church life, and our conduct.  This year let these verses be a golden thread stretching through all that we do individually and together.
