Mothers’ Union is a global Anglican organization founded in 1876 by Mary Sumner, wife of a rector in an Anglican Church. This international Christian group started originally as a parochial organization helping parents build a united strong Christian family; help ending family violence and poverty. Today Mothers’ Union strives to care for families worldwide by providing its members a connection to serve God in their own locality, through prayers and financial support.
