New Name for Theology and Formation School
Dear Friends,
The renovation of offices at St. Matthew’s Cathedral is complete, and the diocesan staff has now moved into our beautifully renovated third floor. In order to celebrate the relocation of the EDOD offices, and to highlight its significance, the cathedral has named our offices and meetings rooms on the third floor, “The Stanton Center.”
Lest confusion arise, we have now renamed the diocesan theological school known as “The Stanton Center” with a new name, “The Stanton Institute.” This name change coincides with the return of the diocesan school to the cathedral complex beginning in January, and with efforts to raise awareness of the rich opportunities for education and Christian formation offered by the newly renamed “Stanton Institute.”
To review:
The Stanton Center = the diocesan offices on the 3rd floor of Garrett Hall
The Stanton Institute = the diocesan theological school for lay ministry formation, adult education and diaconal formation.
Peace,
The Rev. Canon Dr. Christopher Brown
