Bishop Rob Price confirmed five adults Sunday at St. John's in Corsicana, where he was warmly welcomed by parishioners and invited to coffee hour where he let the kids try on his mitre. Bishop Price also blessed a newly renovated nursery. Good things are happening at St. John's thanks to the many gifts of the lay leaders and Rector the Rev. Matthew Sparks. The parish started a men's group in the fall, the Men of St. Joseph, where they talk about manhood and St. Joseph. The church also has started having Daily Office and Mass publicly said each weekday. And they are celebrating their 150th year as parish.
