Alpha Course Training Begins in August
One of the most effective ways to reach new people who have spiritual questions and for our congregations to go deeper in their faith is The Alpha Course.
“The Alpha Course is an 11- week course that creates a space, online or in person, where people are excited to bring their friends for a conversation about faith, life, and God.”
What began as a weekly course at the Church of England parish Holy Trinity Brompton, has now been done in 169 countries and has been translated into 112 languages. Literally millions of people have come to faith through this course.
The Alpha Course has brand new engaging videos with diverse settings and voices.
The Episcopal Diocese of Dallas will be holding a training for all interested parishes in running Alpha on August 22 or 29th at 5:00 p.m. at St. Matthews Cathedral (5100 Ross Avenue, Dallas, 75204) and online via zoom at the same time. This will provide the tools needed to run an Alpha at your parish or online.
