St. Luke’s, Dallas serving as their new priest-in-charge.

How long have you been there?

A few weeks.

What has been the most surprising aspect of this ministry?

How much I enjoy celebrating the Eucharist at 7:30 a.m.

What has been the most meaningful?

I am often moved by the commitment and love of my parishioners towards their church.

Since this placement how have you seen God’s presence in your life?

It is evident to me that God equips me constantly, especially by giving me enough energy and vitality to take on different tasks at once.

Since this placement how have you seen God’s presence in your parish?

In the ways that parishioners and staff care for others, especially those who are sick and homebound.

What is your advice to those discerning the call to holy orders?

To form habits of prayer and fasting.

What are you most thankful for in this role? 

For God’s mercy at work everyday, far beyond my own skill and deficiency.
