    Dear Friends in Christ,

When I say, “transitions,” you should hear it to the tune of “Tradition!” in Fiddler on the Roof. That being said, I have a lot of news:

The Rev. Randy Melton retired from St. James, Kemp. Congratulations, Randy+, and well done. Fr. Sam Adams is now serving as Priest-in-Charge at St. James.

The Rev. James Detrich has taken a new call as the Rector of St. James, Norman, OK. Congratulations, and we wish you well beyond the Red River. Fr. Roy Thomas has been appointed Priest-in-Charge of St. Andrew’s, Farmers Branch, effective April 11.

The Rev. Lorenzo Galuszka will be leaving his post as Curate at St. Peter’s, McKinney to become Rector of St. Barnabas, Denton.

The Rev. Christopher Stephen is newly licensed in the Diocese of Dallas, and is serving on the staff of Epiphany, Richardson.

The Rev. Dr. Andrew Grosso has joined the staff of St. Michael & All Angels as the Associate for Worship & Liturgy.

The Rev. Teresa Terry has joined the staff of Church of the Ascension, Dallas, as Associate Rector.

The Rev. Audrey Sutton will begin her ministry as the Curate at St. Philip’s, Frisco in June.

The Rev. Miguel Carmona will begin his ministry as the Curate at St. Barnabas, Garland in July.

Julian Borda will serve at Camp All Saints this May and June before beginning his curacy at St. Paul’s, Waxahachie.

The Rev. J.D. Brown will retire as Rector of Holy Trinity, Garland this Easter Sunday. Congratulations, Fr. J.D.!  The Rt. Rev. James Stanton will be Clergy-in-Charge.

The Rev. Canon Tony Munoz will retire as Vicar of St. Barnabas, Garland on Easter Sunday. Well done, Fr. Tony! The Rev. Canon Rene Somodevilla will be Priest-in-Charge.

    Let us pray:

O God of unchangeable power and eternal light: Look favorably on your whole Church, that wonderful and sacred mystery; by the effectual working of your providence, carry out in tranquility the plan of salvation; let the whole world see and know that things which were cast down are being raised up, and things which had grown old are being made new, and that all things are being brought to their perfection by him through whom all things were made, your Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
