Episcopal Foundation Board Seeks Trustees

08.04.22 | Homepage

We are currently seeking parish leaders and members to join our dynamic board of trustees. You may know of our Foundation through the financial services we provide or the perhaps through the cash grants we make to parishes, Episcopal schools and community groups serving those in need of shelter, food and medical care including mental health. Our mission is to strengthen faith communities by partnering wise investments with purposeful giving. For more than 70 years, we have been faithfully advising on ways to grow and maximize the financial gifts that have been entrusted to our diocesan community.

Board members are actively involved in organizational governance, and are expected to attend quarterly board meetings, participate in at least one-two board committees, and make a personal financial contribution at the level each board member finds meaningful for them.

We seek Episcopalians with experience in a variety of skills, with a strong emphasis on candidates with finance, commercial & private equity investing, accounting, legal, and marketing expertise. Our immediate needs are for those parishioners with public accounting or legal expertise. Among the personal benefits for board members is the opportunity to work with Episcopalians from different parishes who share Christian values and a commitment to grow God's kingdom in our community.

The EFD Nominating Committee would appreciate you forwarding any names of parishioners who have accounting or legal experience and who might enjoy board service to Executive Director, Pam Fellows Jamieson.
