Faith Talks
Join the Living Church for two evenings of Faith Talks. A discussion on Shaping christian Community in a Lonely World is scheduled for 7 p.m., April 6, at Canterbury House, 3308 Daniel, in Dallas. This discussion will focus on how structures of modern life often work against deep human connection. The pane discussions will consider new and old strategies for living in community, drawing on the social sciences to understand current trends and on Christian teachings about what it means to be human together.
The second talk is titled, "Liturgy and the Inside-Out Economy." Nathan Jennings, from Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, will lead a discussion asking why does it matter how we worship, and how does that change the world? This talk is scheduled for 7 p.m., April 27 at Canterbury House, 3308 Daniel, in Dallas.
