Dear Friends,

The 2020 Census is upon us and participating can help you and your community! The census counts U.S. Households and population and will begin April 1, 2020. By law it is confidential and no personal information can be shared. 

The census provides for the basis of reapportioning congressional seats, redistricting, and distributing more than $675 billion in federal funds annually to support states, counties, and communities -- impacting housing, education, transportation, employment, healthcare and public policy. Your help is needed to make sure our local communities are counted in order to receive funding and necessary services.  

There are multiple upcoming opportunities for the faith community!  Learn information (see below) that you can take back and share with your congregation and steps to take to help seniors, those experience homelessness and others who may be hard to count to complete their census forms.
