One Man's Treasure is asking for donations of men's coats and shoes, either new or gently used, to be dropped off during the EDOD convention that is scheduled for Nov. 13 at Episcopal School of Dallas, 4100 Merrell Road. Or call 214-938-1056 for the donations to be picked up at your church. 

The donations will be given to about 450 to 500 indigent men who have been released from prison during the winter months. 

A message from a former recipient who now volunteers to deliver the clothes to others: "The clothes are just so nice, they make the men feel good about themselves and confident when they leave to go on an interview. For me personally, it really meant a lot that after spending 21 years in prison there were people out here that cared about me and had faith that I could be successful on the outside. It gave me hope."
