ReviveTX
The Episcopal Diocese of Dallas is partnering with ReviveTX in a multi-denominational effort for the 50 days between Easter and Pentecost, throughout North Texas to cover the region in prayer; send witnesses into schools, businesses and streets to greet, pray and share the Gospel; offer New Testament copies in Spanish and English; and provide one-on-one discipleship materials for seekers and new followers of Jesus
ReviveTX is carefully designed to be sensitive and respectful, and provides training for every team, each day. Participation can be once or many times. This program is for all ages and provides a unique opportunity for the faithful to stretch beyond their church walls to catch the joy of praying and sharing the love of Jesus.
Many diocesan parishes have enrolled in this ecumenical effort, which spans all denominations including Roman Catholic, Pentecostal, Methodist and Baptist to name a few. Even if your church is not a sponsoring parish, please send evangelists in your midst to partake in this joyous effort. Have them contact me so they can participate in one or more days. It will encourage them.
The reviveTX kick off celebration, praise, worship, and prayer gathering is scheduled for 6 p.m., EASTER SUNDAY NIGHT April 16, at IBOC CHURCH 7701 S. Westmoreland Rd. Dallas, TX 75237. More than 300 churches involved across DFW such as Prestonwood Baptist, Gateway Church, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship and our own. We have the most churches of any denomination represented. PRAISE!
