Eighth Annual Patriot PAWS Golf Tournament Event

Patriot PAWS Service Dogs, based in Rockwall Texas, is a national nonprofit whose mission is to train and provide service dogs of the highest quality at no cost to disabled American veterans and others in order to help restore their physical and emotional independence. Patriot PAWS is one of only four Texas-based service dog organizations accredited by Assistance Dogs International. Since its inception in 2006, Patriot PAWS has placed 199 dogs in over 30 states across the U.S.
“We look forward every year to the golf tournament hosted by The Brotherhood of St. Andrew, Dallas Assembly,” said Lori Stevens, Founder and Executive Director of Patriot PAWS. “We are so grateful for their faithful support,” Stevens continued. “With their help, we are changing the lives of disabled veterans one leash at a time.”
Although Patriot PAWS is increasing their service dog placements each year, the need is still great. Currently, there are 63 veterans waiting for a Patriot PAWS Service Dog with new applications coming in every month. In order to meet the need, Patriot PAWS is implementing a growth plan that will substantially increase the number of dogs in their training program. Patriot PAWS relies completely on private donations and grants, and with a cost of $35,000 to fully train and certify each dog, the organization needs your help more than ever.
