Memorial Service for The Rev. A. Patterson (Pat) Young

A memorial for The Rev. A. Patterson Young (known by all as Pat) will be held at St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Sulphur Springs where he served for ten years. The Rt. Rev. Jim Stanton will preside.
Fr. Pat was a very kind and gentle soul. He passed away on July 15th after being in poor health for some time. He and his wife, Janet had relocated to Conway, Arkansas in recent years to be closer to their children.
We ask your prayers for his repose and for comfort for family. Condolences may be sent to Mrs. Janet Young, 1505 Declaration Cove, Conway, AR 72034.
O God, the King of saints, we praise and magnify thy holy Name for all thy servants who have finished their course in thy faith and fear; for the blessed Virgin Mary; for the holy patriarchs, prophets, apostles, and martyrs; and for all other thy righteous servants, known to us and unknown; and we beseech thee that, encouraged by their examples, aided by their prayers, and strengthened by their fellowship, we also may be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; through the merits of thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
