The Rev. Chris Steele warmly greeted the Cuban deputation to their first General Convention. He told them he looked forward to telling his Cuban wife, Connie, that he met them. He also told about his fond memories of meeting their bishop in Austin.
The diocese has an Official Youth Presence deputy this year, Kyle Skinner, who attends Epiphany. He has already found his way to the microphone and spoke not only on legislation in the House of Deputies, but also in legislative committees. In this photo below, he is getting a friendly Episcopal embrace from the Rev. Rebecca Tankersly, Transfiguration, who is an alternate deputy.
